MetroLink was built with a combination of preexisting track and new installations. As a result, every space is different. While this makes updating signage a challenge, it also presents opportunities to create something truly unique at each location.

Americans With Disabilities Act

Permanent transit signage must adhere to strict ADA guidelines to ensure riders with special needs are able to access the system with ease. Below are a few notes that illustrate how these signs adhere to rules set by the United States Access Board, an independent federal agency that promotes equality for people with disabilities through the development of accessibility guidelines and standards.
